Annual Meeting- 2002 August 9 & 10, 2002
Photo Tour
The
MFA Annual Meeting took place at Coldwater, Michigan and at Coldwater
Lake. Highlights of the meeting
included, on Friday afternoon, either a tour of the Coldwater Veneer Mill
in Coldwater , or a tour of the Bloom Dairy Farms woodlot #1 which began
to be managed in 1992. On Friday evening, following an ice cream
social, a very interesting program on Raptors was presented by Mr.
Joe Rogers of Wildlife Recovery Association. On Saturday morning, a tour of Pete
and Marianne Klink's woodlot and a tour of the Kop Kon Nature Sanctuary was followed by a
lunch at the Klink Farm. On Saturday afternoon, Pete gave us a tour of the
farm grounds and provided some of its history. After the regular business
meeting and banquet at the Ramada Inn, Dave Wellman provided his unique
style of auctioneering for the auction Saturday
night. Here are some photos
