Annual Meeting- 2005 August 19 & 20, 2005
Photo Tour
Bill and Alice Botti planned an outstanding meeting, starting with the MFA Board meeting Friday
morning. The annual meeting started at 1:00 pm with the Annual Membership
Business Meeting followed by a School Forest Seminar. On Friday evening the
Banquet, Awards and Auction were held. Activities Saturday morning and early afternoon included
tours of a School Forest and the Ballard Family woods. The afternoon tour
of the Eaton Rapids Camp included stops at 4 program stations where
resource professionals discussed wildlife management, cost-share programs,
timber management and small-scale woods equipment. In the late afternoon,
forestry games were available for the kids and adults. On Saturday
evening, participants were treated to a barbeque dinner followed by
campfire songs with the Renaissance Foresters.

meals were prepared and served in the meeting hall
The School
Forest Tour participants were treated to some needed rain, but it didn't
seem to dampen spirits
On Saturday
afternoon, tours were given of the Eaton Rapids Camp, with resource
professionals available to discuss many topics
Members
could ride on wagons or walk on the Camp tour
Pete Klink
gave a demonstration of a Woodmizer portable band saw while Colin Burnett
harvested several trees to provide the logs for the saw
